StudySpritTerms of Use
1. Who can use StudySprit
You must be at least 13 years old. Accounts declaring an age under 13 are refused. If you are under 18, your account is handled under stricter safety rules: your requests are processed by OpenAI only, replies are kept age-appropriate, and a parent or guardian may ask us to switch AI tools off for your account at any time.
2. What StudySprit is — and isn't
StudySprit is a study aid. It generates explanations, quizzes, summaries and plans using AI models. It is not a teacher, an examiner, a doctor, a lawyer or a counsellor.
The Homework Scanner is best-effort. Its accuracy depends on photo quality and handwriting, and its scores are indicative only — they are not a substitute for your teacher's marking.
3. Your account
Keep your sign-in secure and do not share it. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at support@studysprit.com if you think someone else has access.
4. Fair use
Each account has a daily limit on AI requests per tool. This keeps the service fast and affordable for everyone. You agree not to:
- Use the service to generate content that is illegal, hateful, sexual, or harmful.
- Attempt to bypass the age gate, parental consent, safety checks or usage limits.
- Automate, scrape or resell access to the service.
- Submit other people's personal information into the AI tools.
We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
5. Content you submit
You keep ownership of the notes, questions and photos you submit. You grant us permission to process them for the sole purpose of running the service — which includes sending them to the AI providers listed in our Privacy Policy. We do not use your content to train our own models.
6. Availability
We aim to keep StudySprit available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. AI features depend on third-party providers and may be unavailable during their outages. If our safety checks are unavailable, AI features are switched off rather than run unchecked — this is deliberate.
7. Ending your use
You can delete your account at any time, in the app or on our deletion page. Deletion is permanent. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms or the law.
8. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, StudySprit is provided "as is". We are not liable for academic outcomes, decisions made on the basis of AI-generated content, third-party service outages, or misuse of the application. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified in the app before they take effect.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
